A 35-minute session where I stitch your likeness as we talk, weaving fabrics and words from your story into the piece.
InStitchYou Talk
My presentation is about my travels around the world with a sewing machine.
I speak about how I use my art as its own language and how it can incite interactions and adventures with the world.
I intend the talk to take the listeners on a colourful journey, from cycling across India to pedal-powered sewing machines.
During the talk, I perform a live stitched portrait demonstration of one of the guests, a camera on my sewing machine allows the viewers to watch the portrait come to life.
